Pura Ulun Danu

Visiting Ulun Danu , one of the important temples and visited for spiritual purposes in Bali. This temple is located in the village of Bedugul, Tabanan regency, about 62 km from Denpasar. Ulun Danu is a place of worship for the Goddess Danu (Goddess of Fertility) as a source of irrigation rice farmers in Bali, especially residents of Tabanan. This temple was founded in the 17th century and built on the shores of Lake Beratan. There is one major shrines in this temple and several separate shrine seen floating in the lake that can only be reached by boat or on foot when the lake water receded. Lunch is served at Mentari restaurant Bedugul.
